Beyond the Lens is now home to Pigeon Forges newest attraction, FlyRide. This amazing sensory experience gives you the immersive feeling of flight as you soar over 22 national landmarks!Taking over five years to construct, FlyRide features a curved screen that is more than four stories high and features the latest projection technology that creates a 60-foot-wide immersive image. Experience mist, wind, scents and motion as you soar through breathtaking vistas. The film was produced by the leader in IMAX films! Starting November 1st the FlyRide will feature The Polar Express: Journey to the North Pole and will be the only place that you can experience this one of a kind holiday treat. Stop by Beyond the Lens to experience Techno-Tainment at Beyond The Lens! featuring FlyRide!Next up is Paula Deens Lumberjack Feud and their first annual Ribfest! On Saturday October 1 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday October 2nd from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, stop by Lumberjack Feud Ribfest. The best pitmasters from all over will compete for BBQ Glory, cash prizes, and the title of Ribfest Champion! The event will include a Best Rib Competition, Lumberjack Competitions, live music, inflatables, amateur axe throwing contest, and activities for the entire family! See amazing chalk art created and presented at The Island. From Sept. 23Oct. 29 Dollywood hosts their Harvest Celebration, which includes the always popular Great Pumpkin LumiNights. Starting on Nov. 5th, Dollywood is transformed for Dollywood Smoky Mountain Christmas.
