The best way to get aerial views of the Great Smoky Mountains is by riding the Sky Lift in Gatlinburg. You can ride this double chairlift to the top of Crockett Mountain. On a cool day, it is a very relaxing experience. You’ll get spectacular views of the lush forest as you enjoy the downhill ride. It’s a great way to get a front row seat to all the amazing views while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains.
3. Spend a Day at Dollywood
There is nothing quite like feeling the wind blow through your hair as you soar through the sky on a Dollywood thrill ride. Dollywood is known for it’s high thrill rides and delicious southern cuisine. This amusement park isn’t as crowded as Disney World, but it offers the same kind of fun. You can honestly spend a whole day at the park and be entertained the whole time. If it is your first time visiting Dollywood, then you have to ride Blazing Fury. It is one of the oldest rides at the park, but it is definitely one of the best.
4. Visit the Old Mill in Pigeon Forge
When you visit the Old Mill in Pigeon Forge you’ll be taken back to a much simpler time. The Old Mill itself is a cool artifact from the past. You can simply stop by to look at the mill or visit the restaurant for a bite to eat. They also have a country store you can look through and buy mixes for some of the food they make at the restaurant. It’ll be a fun place to shop for everyone.
