Back by popular demand and nestled within the lively atmosphere of Gatlinburg’s Fourth of July festivities, it’s time for the exhilarating River Raft Regatta: an annual showdown of unmanned floatables racing down the Little Pigeon River.

All eager participants will gather bright and early at the former Christ in the Smokies Museum at 11:00 for registration. Then at 1:00 pm, the competition launches into action, culminating with the triumphant crossing of the finish line at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.

Join the throngs of spectators and contenders alike by entering a rented rubber duck into the fray (or bring your own at no extra cost). Prices start at $2 for a single entry or grab three ducks for just $5 onsite. Not only will you be part of the thrill, but you’ll also be contributing to a worthy cause.
