St. Patrick’s Day at The Island

March 17

Visit The Island in Pigeon Forge on Sunday, March 17th to join in all the festivities as we celebrate St. Paddy’s Day. The Island will be lit up green as we celebrate with fun festivities all day long. For 2024, the event will feature progressive Americana band Tuatha Dea as the headlining performer.

The event is free to the public and will feature live performances by Tuatha Dea, a progressive Americana band with a rock edge known for pushing the boundaries of modern roots music, as well as various food and drink specials at participating Island shops and restaurants. Adding to the day’s festivities, The Island fountains will be dyed green and feature special, Celtic-inspired music selections in celebration of the holiday.

Don’t miss our special Island Fountain show, featuring a choreographed fountain performance of I’m Shipping Up To Boston by the Dropkick Murphys.

What’s St. Paddy’s Day without festive drinks and good eats? Grab a pint of beer at Yee-Haw Brewing Co. and enjoy fun Irish-themed fare at Timberwood Grill and Mellow Mushroom.

More information about this event will be posted when it becomes available.

We’re so happy to be once again hosting our annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration here at The Island. This event is always action-packed, and we’re excited to have Tuatha Dea here to add to the day’s festivities and keep our visitors dancing and having fun!David Wear, Vice President of Operations for The Island

Tuatha Dea will be performing two sets during the day, at 1:00 p.m. and again at 4:00 p.m. Combining primal rhythms, melodic and ethereal ballads, and screaming guitar riffs with an Appalachian/Celtic vibe. This dynamic group, born of a family drum circle, delivers an authentic tribal and clannish feel that not only draws the audience into the music, but into the moment. Always embracing their Celtic heritage, Tuatha Dea meshes the traditional music of Scotland and Ireland with their own bold blend of rock, mountain drumming, and Appalachian blues to create a unique sound with universal appeal.
